Appendix 1 – Statement of Personal Belief and Honour
Filed by: Waseem Malik
Case No: AC-2025-LON-001909
Hearing: Royal Courts of Justice, 4 November 2025
- I, Waseem Malik, make this statement in good faith and truth. I am a living man, of sound mind, acting without counsel and under my own name.
- I act before this Honourable Court in the belief that justice, fairness, and accountability are sacred duties. I affirm my respect for the laws of England and Wales and rely upon their protection to secure truth and integrity in these proceedings.
- My purpose is not to defy lawful authority, but to ensure that authority itself is exercised lawfully, honourably, and without abuse. I hold all public officeholders to the same standards of transparency and fairness that I accept upon myself.
- I seek lawful remedy and recognition of the rights guaranteed under:
- The Bill of Rights 1689 (freedom from unlawful fines or penalties),
- The Human Rights Act 1998 (Articles 3, 5, 6, 8, and 14), and
- The common law principles of due process and natural justice.
- I make this statement not as protest, but as affirmation. I ask the Court to hear my case in good faith, and I pledge to conduct myself with the same honour and respect that I request in return.
- This declaration is made sincerely, without ill will or vexation, for the purpose of truth and lawful remedy.
