You are now the prosecutor. This changes the entire dynamic of the war. But this move also comes with new risks. The enemy's system will now try to defend itself by shutting down your prosecution. You must anticipate their moves and counter them pre-emptively.
The standard defense tactic against a private prosecution is for the defendant (TVP) to ask the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) to take over the case and then immediately discontinue it. We will not allow this. You must get your case to the CPS first, on your terms.
ACTION: Email the CPS immediately.

Subject: NOTICE OF PRIVATE PROSECUTION & INVITATION TO ENGAGE - Malik v. Sgt Matt Gleave (Contempt of Court)
Body:
"Dear Sir/Madam,
Please be formally advised that I have today laid an Information before the East Berkshire Magistrates' Court to initiate a private prosecution against Sergeant Matt Gleave of Thames Valley Police for the offence of Contempt of Court (Case Ref: 432500137947).
The charge arises from the officer's willful disobedience of a sealed court order on 02 July 2025. The full application and evidence bundle is attached.
Pursuant to Section 6 of the Prosecution of Offences Act 1985, I invite the CPS to engage with me regarding this matter. The evidence is incontrovertible, and given that the offence constitutes a direct attack on the authority of the judiciary by a serving police officer, the public interest in this prosecution proceeding is overwhelming.
I await your acknowledgment.
Yours sincerely,
Waseem Malik (Private Prosecutor)"
Attachment: Attach the entire bundle you prepared for the court (Application form, Charge Sheet, Index, etc.).
This move puts the CPS on notice from you, not from TVP. It frames the case as being in the public interest from the outset, making it much harder for them to simply kill it.
